A female stalker of Pete Davidson has been declared unfit to stand trial and placed in a psychiatric facility. This comes after she broke into the Staten Island, New York home of the comedian in 2021.
The woman, identified as Michelle Mootreddy, is to receive treatment and regular evaluations to determine her ability to participate in her defense, according to the Staten Island District Attorney’s office as told to TMZ.
Mootreddy was accused of trespassing into the home of the Saturday Night Live star in March of 2021, an incident that occurred while he was not home, but one of his relatives was present, as reported by the outlet.

Incident reports mention that Mootreddy knocked on the front door and was instructed to leave the premises. Despite this, she entered the home through a side door and proceeded to the kitchen, according to court documents.
Mootreddy informed the person present in the house at the time that ‘I’m here for Pete. Pete told me to come here.’
Law enforcement sources revealed to Page Six that Mootreddy claimed to police about having a ‘telepathic love connection’ to the celebrity.
The person in the house promptly contacted authorities, leading to Mootreddy’s arrest on charges of second and third-degree burglary.
Mootreddy also faced two misdemeanor counts of stalking and two misdemeanor counts of criminal trespass and harassment, as per TMZ.
Following her arrest more than two years ago, orders of protection were issued by the court for Davidson, his mother Amy Waters, and sister Casey Davidson, reported Page Six at the time.
Two years ago, Mootreddy issued a false statement to the media alleging she had married Davidson.
According to the outlet, prosecutors cited instances of Mootreddy sending unwanted letters and gifts to the actor-comedian’s home.
‘In this case, the defendant engaged in conduct that involved numerous instances of stalking, including sending letters and packages to the home of Peter Davidson, as well as subsequently entering the home without permission,’ said Assistant District Attorney Matthew Stupp.
Davidson has previously garnered headlines for his high-profile relationships with Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande, Kaia Gerber, Cazzie David, Kate Beckinsale, and Emily Ratajkowski.
